SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System), the national airline for Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, has officially entered into a codeshare agreement with Delta, which takes effect on September 25, 2024. This partnership follows SAS’s recent integration into the SkyTeam alliance, which occurred on September 1. The agreement aims to enhance travel connections between North America and Scandinavia, including key destinations such as New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, while expanding options in Europe with connections to France and Italy. The agreement will also offer mutual benefits such as codeshare services and frequent flyer perks. Customers from both airlines will be able to earn and redeem SkyMiles or SAS EuroBonus points across the two carriers.

Through this collaboration, SAS and Delta passengers will have access to an expanded range of travel options within Europe and North America. SAS travelers will benefit from access to over 150 North American destinations via Delta’s key hubs in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle. On the flip side, Delta passengers flying from North America will be able to reach more than 50 destinations across Northern Europe, thanks to SAS’s hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm.
